Welcome to Step Ahead Flooring. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website stepaheadflooring.ca (the “Site”) and the flooring services we provide (“Services”). By using our Site or engaging our Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. About us
Step Ahead Flooring provides flooring installation, repair, refinishing, and related services throughout the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding areas. You can reach us at 647-448-3878.
2. Quotes & estimates
All quotes and estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for [e.g., 30] days from the date issued, unless stated otherwise. Quotes are based on the information you provide and a site assessment where applicable. Final pricing may change if the scope of work, materials, square footage, or site conditions (such as subfloor damage or additional prep) differ from what was originally assessed. Any change in scope or price will be discussed and agreed with you before additional work is carried out.
3. Bookings, deposits & payment

4. Materials
Where you purchase flooring materials through us, any applicable discount on installation will be confirmed in your written quote. Where you supply your own materials, you are responsible for ensuring the correct type and sufficient quantity are available before installation; delays or shortages caused by client-supplied materials may affect scheduling and cost. Natural materials such as hardwood may vary in colour and grain.
5. Scheduling & access
You agree to provide safe, clear, and timely access to the work area. Please remove or arrange for the removal of furniture and belongings unless furniture moving is included in your quote. We are not responsible for delays caused by inaccessible work areas, unsafe conditions, or client-supplied materials.
6. Cancellations & rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least [e.g., 48 hours’] notice. Cancellations made with less notice, or after materials have been ordered, may be subject to a fee to cover costs incurred. Deposit refund terms will be set out in your written quote.
7. Warranty & workmanship
We take pride in our workmanship and stand behind our installations. 8. Client responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, for obtaining any permits or condo/property-management approvals required for your project, and for disclosing known issues (such as moisture problems or hazardous materials) before work begins.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Step Ahead Flooring’s total liability arising from the Services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for those Services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Website use

11. Governing law
